Ruiner
A piece for college, the assignment was to take a song and create a CD jacket for it. I was listening to The Downward Spiral (NIN) quite a bit, and Ruiner was my favourite off the album so I chose that.
This is a weird one to describe. Yes, that is a real bird. Please note that no harm came to it; It had passed on long before I found it like this in my mother's garden after the spring thaw. After cleaning it I wrapped it in wire, pinned it to a painted matte board, photographed and worked with the image in PS, then hand-painted the coda of Ruiner backwards on the final print.
